Abstract:
Sporadic infestation of brinjal lace wing bug (Urentius sentis Distant) was found for the first time on cotton in some localities of the Southern Punjab (Pakistan) during July-Aug. 1985. Abutilon was recorded as another host of the insect. Infested leaves showed characteristic yellowish spots and black excreta. Sumithion, Perfekthion and Rogor spray gave effective control of the pest.
