Abstract:
This paper is an objective study of the extent and distribution of valuable agricultural land not being utilized. Economic development of Pakistan is closely related with the proper utilization of our agricultural resources. Unfortunately, these resources are either not being properly exploited or are not being at all utilized. District-wise distribution and concentration of agricultural resources that can be easily exploited, has been shown on the maps with simple cartographic methods. The paper provides guidance to the planners to determine priorities for investment on national as well as provincial level.
