Tylenchorhynchus swatiensis N.SP. (Nematoda: Tylenchida) from the Swat area of Pakistan.

Abstract:
Tylenchorhynchus swatiensis n.sp. is described and illustrated from specimens on Prunus armeniaca from Swat, Pakistan. This new species can be distinguished from all other species of the genus Tylenchorhynchus on the basis of a combination of the characteristic, smaller body length, completely set off cephalic region, smaller stylet length, areolated lateral field with three lines, presence of single epiptygma, and smaller spicules and gubernaculum.
