Abstract:
It is stated that the relationship between the statistical data and the field work warrants continuous analysis so that any statistical data which fails to have any relationship with field work may be dispensed with. The office organization should always hold this purpose in view, that the figures and numbers which it has to handle should not cease to have a bearing on the field work which may relate to production, control or distribution. A management is more interested in the trend of events rather than their exact quantum. This explains the use of maps, graphs and charts.
