Abstract:

Classification of the Phylum acanthocephala is reviewed and diagnosis of all the existing classes, orders and families are given based on the more recent descriptions. Genera in each of the families are also listed. Diagramatic and semidiagramtic representative illustrations of each of the 22 families with all possible diagnostic features are also presented here.
