Abstract:
The toxicities of Petkolin and five organophosphorous compounds alone and in different combinations were evaluated on the house fly, Musca domestica L by topical application method The results showed that dimethoate was most toxic when tested alone Among the various combinations of insecticides tested with Petkolin, dimethoate was most compatible as the cotoxicity coefficient value 553.8 was achieved by mixing 307. dimethoate with Petkolin. When fenitrothion and Petkolin were mixed in equal ratio, the joint toxicity of the mixture was equal to that of fenitrothion alone.
