Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool for addressing complex environmental challenges by enabling data-driven insights, predictive modeling, and optimized decision-making. With its ability to process large-scale environmental datasets from satellites, sensors, and monitoring systems, AI facilitates accurate climate forecasting, air and water quality assessment, and early warning systems for natural disasters. Machine learning algorithms are increasingly being applied to optimize energy consumption, enhance renewable energy integration, and improve waste management and recycling processes. Moreover, AI-driven solutions contribute to biodiversity monitoring, precision agriculture, and pollution control, thereby supporting sustainable development goals. Despite its potential, challenges remain, including data privacy, high-energy demands of AI systems, and limited adoption in developing regions. Nonetheless, the integration of AI into environmental management frameworks offers a promising pathway toward mitigating climate change, promoting resource efficiency, and advancing global sustainability.
