Abstract:

This article presents a brief review on parasitic zoonoses that generally occur in nature especially in the tropical and sub-tropical countries and associated with mammals and their internal and external parasites. The zoonoses discussed in this review include; classification of zoonoses, socioeconomic aspects, effect of human settlements, human behavior and food habits environmental pollution, occupational hazards, partial list of parasitic zoonoses and features of medically important parasites.
