Abstract:
The advantages of transfer printing are the low initial cost of equipment and space requirements. After treatment, the fibre does not require rinsing, soaping and washing. However, it has a few disadvantages for example it is not applicable to 1008 natural and manmade cellulose fibres and has limited colour fastness and the transfer paper cannot be modified if once printed out.
