Abstract:

The effect of various additive like zinc, tin, lead, and graphite on copper and the behaviour of the compacts after sintering at varying temperatures and for various durations of time have been examined with respect to their electrical and mechanical properties. The effect of composition, load, sintering temperature and time on specific resistance, current carrying capacity, hardness and specific weights have been discussed and graphically represented.
