Abstract:

The electrocatalytic oxidation of glycerol has been investigated at carbon electrode in alkaline medium in the presence and absence of palladium by potentiostatic steady state technique in order to study the effect of metal cations on the activity of carbon electrode. The kinetic parameters have been determined in order to compare such oxidations on carbon electrode with other electrodes.
