Abstract:
A field study to see the response of mustard variety T-14 to varying fertilizer doses(0-0-0, 75-50-0,100-75-0 NPK kg ha-1) and different row spacing (20,25,30 cm) was conducted during 1992-94 under barani conditions of Chakwal. Significantly higher yield (1352 kg ha-1) was recorded when the crop was fertilized @ 100-75-0 NPK kg ha-1. This was attributed to more number of seeds pod-1 and more number of pods plant-1. Plant height, primary and secondary branches remained unaffected. As regards row spacing, higher seed yield (1205 kg ha 1) was observed when the crop was sown in 30 cm apart rows. Similar trend was observed in biological yield. Number of seeds pod. " and number of pods plant I exhibited strong positive relationship with seed yield.
