Three new species of the genus Tremarhyncus Thapar, 1933 from Hardella thurgi of Sind.

Abstract:
Three new species of trematodes Tremarhynchus hardellii, Tremarhynchus qadrii and Tremarhynchus Pakistanicus recovered-from the liver and urinary bladder of Hardella thurgi (fresh water tortoise) of Thatta lake, Sind, Pakistan are described. The new species are characterised by the extension of vitellaria, the shape of testes, cirrus sac, external seminal vesicle and by a very prominent intestinal bend. In T.hardellii a sharp intestinal bend is present, both in front and behind the ventral sucker. In T.Pakistanicus, slight intestinal bend whereas in T.qadrii, a sharp bend in the left intestinal caecum is present.
