Abstract:
Theoretically transition from non-boiling to boiling heat transfer should occur when surface temperature of the liquid exceeds its saturation temperature but it is brought about by a certain degree of superheating as some extra energy, is needed for nucleation, because work is required to be done against the force of surface tension.
