Abstract:
In this paper, we propose a class of almost unbiased ratio-type estimators for estimating the finite population mean using systematic sampling when information on two auxiliary attributes is available. The proposed class of estimators is always more efficient than the usual mean estimator, i.e., Niak and Gupta (1996) estimator and Sahai and Ray (1980) estimator. Two real data sets are used for numerical comparison.
