Abstract:

Field experiments on seeding dates were conducted during 1990-91 and to determine the optimum time of sowing for wheat crop under rainfed condition. It was observed that too early as well as too late sowing of wheat reduced the yield. The optimum time planting time for Durum wheat variety (Mexicale) was found to be 4 to 21, December to obtain maximum grain production.
