Abstract:

Serum creatinine, urate and urea values were compared for controlled diabetic and non-diabetic subjects belonging to different age groups. Serum creatinine and urea levels were significantly high whereas urate was found low in controlled diabetic than non-diabetic subjects. Age group appeared to effect the values of these parameters.
