Abstract:

A case of a one year old male Samoyed was received in the Dog Hospital on 12th December 1978 which on X-ray revealed complete fracture of the right femur alongwith a piece of bone detached from the main shaft. Keeping in view the advantages of bone pinning in small animals, it was decided to handle this case using the modern techniques of fracture repair.
