Abstract:
A new species Tanqua sindensis is described from freshwater snake Cerberus rhynchopus Cuvier of Kalri `Lake, Thatta, Sind, Pakistan. The new species is characterised by having head-bulb dividing into two swellings with large lips, each beairg a pair of papillae on its inner surface and large spicules.
