Tylenchus Pakistanensis n.sp. collected around the roots of Bird cherry, from Murree hills comes close to T. davaini Bastian, 1865, but differs in all body dimensions, spear length and post uterine sac more than half the vulval body width. The new species also differs from T. hamatus Thorne & Malek, 1968 in having longer spear, lesser 'a' and 'b' values and from T. butteus Thorne & Malek, 1968 in all body dimensions, having longer spear, and four incisures in lateral field. From T. faizabadensis Singh and Upadhyay, 1989 it differs in having longer spear and vulva percentage, and from T. naranensis Maqbool et al, 1987, the new species is different in having longer spear, lesser 'a' and T/ABW values; from T.bhitai Maqbool & Shahina, 1987 in having lesser 'a' value, post uterine sac not equal to vulval body width and long spear; from T. skarduensis Maqbool & Shahina, 1987 in having non areolated lateral field, lesser 'a' and T/ABW values. A key of species from Pakistan is given.
