Abstract:
A total of 33 species of metallic woodborers in the Burrrestidac family were reconled,thuing the seasonal survey with collecting ofl'oth immature and adult beetles innumerous locations in Erbil province, Iraq during 2016-2018. Acmaeodera (Acmaeodera) pllosellae (Bonelli, 1812); Acmaeoderella (Carininota) fatinosa (Reiche, 1856); Latipalpis (palpilatis) johanidesi Niehuis, 2002; Melanophda cuspidata Klug, 1829; Agril. ulaangomien,i, Cobos, 1972, and the genus Xantheremia sp. are new for Iraqi fauna. The synonymy of recorded species with the host plants is given. Meanwhile, geographical distribution also has been referred.
