Abstract:

Potassium naphthenate solution was applied as spray on foliage of pea plants. Contrary to the reported beneficial effects, there was no improvement in growth of pea at 0.001 or 0.1 percent, K- naphthenate, except at 0.01 percent. The concentration of 1 percent treatment was inhibitory. Higher accumulation of ions was observed in plant parts at 1 percent K-naphthenate.
