Abstract:
The important topics dealt with are the basic forms of tectonic position and physiographic divisions, stratigraphy, magmatisms, oil and gas prospects of Pakistan. The monoclines of Sind, troughs of Fore Sulaiman, Sibi, and Western part of Kohat-potwar and parts of basins in the off-shore region of the Arabian sea are geologically promising areas.
