Abstract:

Eleven species belonging to 5 genera were identified namely Caloneis Diploneis. Frustulia. Navicula and Staruroneis Three species Caloneis ventricosa. Frustulia rhomboides S.obtusa and three varieties of Frustulia rhomboides were new addition to the phycological flora of Pakistan. These were well presented in cold. fresh running water along with the Desmids.
