Abstract:
Six elliptical sheets of various eccentricities were investigated for their broadband properties as regards their input impedance in the frequency range from 300 MHz to 450 MHz. Fairly constant impedance was exhibited over greater part of the measured frequency range. Experimental investigations were carefully carried out to ensure that the exhibited broadbanding is inherent in the antenna properties and is not the result of experimental coincidence.
