Abstract:

Cyclic voltammetry of pentazocine revealed one broad irreversible oxidation peak at glassy carbon electrode in alkaline aqueous solution. The variation of current function with log of scan rate indicated fast follow-up reactions after initial electron abstraction from pentazocine.
