Vaginal hysterectomy in Iran.

Abstract:
Experience gained on account of 1450 vaginal Hysterectomies by the open cuff method has been reported. Many patients were nulliparas and primiparas and some had urinary fistulas associated with uterine fibroids. The problems encountered in management of these cases are discussed.
