Abstract:
In this paper, we introduce the concept of a left almost group; which is a non-associative structure with interesting properties. This paper aims at studying this structure. Specifically, it is shown that if G is a left almost group and H is a left almost subgroup then G/H is a left almost group. Further, we prove Lagrange’s theorem for left almost groups.
