Abstract:
The common striped squirrel has been found to be a positive host for helminths. Ancylostoma sindhensis n.sp. has been found to occur rarely in the intestine of the common striped squirrel, and is the only species of the genus Ancylostoma recorded from this post. The author has compared the various species of Ancylostoma with A. sindhensis, and since its characteristics are different from them, it has been regarded as a new species.
