Abstract:

Let K be a nonempty closed bounded convex subset of an arbitrary smooth Banach space X and d T, S : K → K be two continuous strictly hemicontractive mappings. Under some conditions we obtain that the modified Ishikawa iteration method with error terms converges strongly to the common fixed point of T and S and is almost common-stable on K .
