Abstract:
Baluchistan occupies nearly half of the area of the country but the quantity of water available is almost negligible. Sound planning, speedy development and management of the limited water resources are needed for the development of the region.It calls for extensive exploration, active development efforts and conservation of the resources.Reconnaisancescale hydrologic studies .hould be completed and a network for hydrologic measurements be established. The employed technical staff should be professionally trained preferably with the background of geology, engineering and chemistry.
