The weeds of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) crop, found in Khairpur District.

Abstract:
Twenty four weed species, belonging to 12 families from three different fields of Khairpur District are reported. Melilotus parviflora Desk. Chenopodium album L. Anagallis arvensis L. and Lathyrus aphaca L. are the most frequent and dominant weeds. These weeds are followed by Vicia sativa L. Phalaris minor Retz. Chenopodium murale L. Melilotus alba Desr and Medicago denticulata Willd. Following weeds such as Saponaria vaccaria L. Asphodelus tenuifolius Cavan. and Rumex dentatus L. Were found most noxious and most dangerous for the wheat crop.
