Vegetation studies in Maslakh range forest, district Pishin Balochistan, Pakistan.

Abstract:
Five plant communities were recognized in Maslakh Range Forest, Pishin which are (i) Poa-Stocksia-Boissiera community on clayey soil, (ii) Boissiera-Stocksia community on clayey soil, (iii) Artemisia-Poa community on clayey sandy soil, (iv) Boissiera-Poa- Artemisia community on clayey soil and (v) Artemisia-Boissiera community on sandy loam soil. The indices of similarity and dissimilarity of these communities were calculated, which showed that they were not similar. Soil pH varied from 7.6 to 8.6.
