Abstract:
The directional and input immedance properties of a VHF Yagi antenna as a function of number of directors and the spacing between them have been experimentally studied. The paper reviews the theory and design considerations for a Yagi briefly, followed by the experimental procedures adopted for the study. The experimentally obtained results are given along with a discussion of the results.
