Abstract:
Dipping in aqueous solution of various fungicides i.e., thiabendazole (1000 ppm) benlate (500 ppm), captan (2500 ppm) and antracol (1400 ppm) at room temperature did not control anthracnose rot, in Dusehri mangoes. Hot water dip (5°C for 5 min.) reduced decay but a significant synergestic effect was observed when hot water treatment was supplemented with irradiation (30 krad).
