Abstract:

QURAN word of GOD, the religious text of Islam conceals many secrets which are being revealed as the time is progressing. This includes names of GOD, occurrences of important figures in the multiple of 19 and so on. This can be verified through software that would calculate the occurrences of Arabic letters. In this research Unicode representation of Arabic characters in Unicode transformation format-8 (UTF- 8) encoding scheme has been used to retrieve the Arabic characters from the Quran. This paper discusses an implementation of the information retrieval for the Arabic UTF-8 characters from Quran.
