Abstract:
In this study the effects of crib therapy in the treatment of openbite cases were investigated. The extrusion of lower and upper incisors and the intrusion of lower first molars were the most significant effects of the appliance. These findings were evaluated as a result of posterior tongue-posture. The lower facial height decreased. Thus, the clockwise pattern of mandibular complex was changed into counter clock wise pattern.
