Abstract:
A new tracer technique, employing the soil-P labelled by thoroughly mixing withP32 solution and unlabelled phosphate is applied and the percentage, utilization, L-values, etc. were calculated by standard methods. The field experiment was designed to study the placement effect on the 13-uptake and variations of L-values with the rate of application and with the harvesting time. The experimental work deals with the time effect of la-belling, fertilizing and sampling the soils. The method has the advantage of comparing the efficiencies of different fertilizers of a particular element.
