Abstract:
A study was conducted on the effect of 0,10,20 and 30 kg/ha of nitrogen and 2000, 3,000, 4000 and 5000 kg/ha of Farm yard manure on the yield of flue-cured virginia tobacco at Tobacco Research Station, Khangarhi, dan during 1986-87. Different nitrogen doses significantly affected the green leaf weight, cured leaf yield and comparison between green and cured weight while no significant effect was observed on leaf area of tobacco. None of parameters were affected by various levels of farm yard manure. The interaction between nitrogen and farm yard manure in case of comparison of green and cured weight was also significant.
