Abstract:
The purpose of this report is to establish basic Utility requirements of its protection and control system and co-ordination with existing apparatus and with future technologies from various manufacturers. The Development of The Co-ordinated Protection and Control System has gone alongwith the development of technology upto date microprocessor based numerical technology in protection, monitoring and control of the Power System of The Electrical Utility Companies. The general concept of the Co-ordinated Protection and Control System of the Power System has been presented alongwith specific application in generation, transmission and distribution systems.
