Abstract:
A protein food based on a blend of gram flour, guar seed flour and skimmed milk powder. has been developed which contains 34% protein. It is fortified with calcium salts and torula yeast to supplement calcium and B-vitamins in the mixture. It provides nearly as much calcium and phosphors as that supplied by the whole milk.
