Abstract:

The focculant`s preparation and addition system is designed for in line static mixing studies. The attempt is done to establish the parameters for the design of flocculator. Procedure for the calculation of number of static mixing elements for the given degree of turbidity removal is also outlined. The advantages of in line static mixing over the agitated mixing are also demonstrated.
