Abstract:
A very cheap system, having a multimeasuring capability, has been developed. This system basically measures values of Vrms Irms and Vrms COSO of the fundamental component and there from calculates average power, power factor, apparent power and finally can record energy and indicates MDI. Various tariff schemes can be implemented on this system and a facility has been provided to observe bill at home on completion of each month.
