Abstract:
Seed of Langra and Samar Bahisht were used for comparing the germination and seedling vigour with three types of seedling mangoes. Seed at ones obtained from seedling types gave an overall better germination performance than seeds of grafted ones. In the comparison of their seedlings growth, Samar Bahisht variety excelled the other varieties in height and girth. The Langra variety was inferior most and seedling types occupied an intermediate position.
