Toxic jaundice in a buffalo.

Abstract:
A female buffalo No.4852, about 4 years of age belonging to the Department of Livestock Management, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad was presented to the University Veterinary Clinic for treatment. There was history of paleness of eyes and loss of appetite. Other symptoms included severe emaciation and constant passage of yellow colored urine. The rectal temperature ranged between 102 to 103oF. Heart beats and respiration were normal. The buffalo was treated with antibiotics and fluid therapy but died after six days of treatment.
