Abstract:

Biological transformation of oven-dried banana waste into sugar was attempted by growing Trichoderma viride in wheat bran medium by surface culture and submerged culture techniques. The yield of sugar produced in the submerged culture was roughly ten times that of sugar produced in the surf ace culture.
