Systematics of gilled mushrooms from donga gali, abbottabad district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

Abstract:
Present study investigates 13 species of gilled mushrooms from Donga Gali, Abbottabad district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Among these, four are identified on the basis of morphological as well as molecular phylogentic analysis. These species include; Gymnopus ahmadii, Inocybe jabirii, Macrocystidia cucumis, Pseudosperma brunneum. Nine taxa are identified on the basis of morphological features viz., Galerina sp., Inocybe geophylla, I. kohistanensis, Infundibulicybe sp., Lepiota sp., Marasmiellus confluens, Marasmius sp., Mycena sp., and Pseudosperma himalayense. Among these, Gymnopus ahmadii, Inocybe jabirii and Pseudosperma brunneumare undescribed previously. Macrocystidia cucumis represents first record from Pakistan.
