Abstract:
Tuberculosis of bone and joints is becoming more common in our country. Therefore it is need of time that every one of us involved specially in primary health care should be aware of the growing problems in our society and should equip himself and institute early prophylactic & curative treatment of tuberculosis to prevent damage to specialized tissues like joint & bone for which no replacement is available up till now. There should be added awareness among our colleagues who are involved in primary health care to extend best possible help to their patients and if patient requires surgery, should be referred to specialized surgical centres.
