Abstract:
Various usual and unusual types of the nodules are described. Discusses the possibility of becoming malignant, the incidence of carcinoma in a nodular goiter, their necrosis, the surgical figures regarding the incidence of cancers in surgical specimens of thyroid, the percentage of thyroid cancers in solitary non toxic nodular goiter, the confusion regarding the word adenoma and the existence of lateral aberrant thyroid.
