Abstract:
Different considerations have led to the conclusion that the territory has certain peculiar features of its own. Amongst these, mention may be made of the slopy and difficult terrain, small and scattered holdings and limited area available for further extension of cultivation on account of which the possibilities of increasing food production are rather limited except in valley areas.
